Choosing your bridal makeup artist is a big step. You want to feel comfortable with whoever you work with, so let me tell you a bit about myself so you can get to know me a little better
I’m a fully qualified makeup artist based in London and I’ve been working in the beauty and makeup world for three years. My journey into makeup was a very happy accident. I’d been looking for a makeup artist in Dubai, but couldn’t find anyone that could create the flawlessly natural look I wanted. So I decided to teach myself and it wasn’t long before I became hooked. The process of learning about a person’s face, complexion and features then creating a look that’s uniquely for them is addictive. The more I do it, the more I want to do it! Before I knew it, I was training to become a professional MUA, all while pregnant with my second child and looking after my very young daughter (I was that impatient to learn!). And I’ve never looked back.
I believe that your makeup will look even more stunning when you take care of your skin so I help all my brides prepare their skin in the build up to their big day. I offer advice on skincare based your skin type and I can also give you a mini-facial ahead of your wedding day so your skin is glowing and healthy. I also use products that work with your skin type as well as your colouring so that your skin feels amazing all day.
Speaking of which, I love luxury products and am always experimenting on myself with the latest lotions and potions to find the best ones for my clients. I use cruelty-free and wherever possible, vegan products, so you have complete peace of mind. If you have any specific requirements, just let me know and I’ll make sure that I work with them, when selecting products for you.
Your experience with me, isn’t just about your makeup. I’ll be on hand to answer any questions, and on the day, I’ll make sure that you feel relaxed and calm in my makeup chair, so you can enjoy the experience. I’ll also remain on hand for that final lip touch-up before you leave for your ceremony.
And what am I doing when I’m not working with clients, practising the latest techniques and testing new products? I don’t like to sit still which is a good job because I have two very lively kids to chase after. I’m also keen to keep learning and I love to read so I always have a pile of books on the go!
